End of Life Care
for the Whole Family

Families often feel overwhelmed in the final stages of the death of a family member. Complex medical issues and decisions around care can dominate the final weeks and days. Family members may be unsure about what course of action is best, feeling bereft without guidance and emotional support. If you are interested in receiving help with medical decisions as well as providing emotional support for your family, I will partner with you to create a personalized plan based on your family’s needs.

“Susan was there for me when I was in deep grief, after losing my brother to a mental health tragedy. Her generous listening, sensitivity, and insightful sharing helped me move through the most challenging period of my life. She encouraged me to express my feelings through the creative activities I loved—storytelling, writing, music and movement—as well as teaching me new practices like QiGong, mindfulness, and self-awareness to help me make meaning of my loss.

With her unique blend of experiences and skills, she helped me identify the unhelpful patterns that could have kept me stuck and inspired in me the courage to make small changes that have impacted my life in big ways. Now, years later, I continue to be grateful and inspired by her caring.”  K.
