Whether you are working one-on-one with me or part of a group experience, I will share with you information and tools that can support, heal, and sustain you throughout your lifetime.

Mastering the Mind

Our thoughts, feelings and stories “feed” the mind, determining the direction, emotional tenor and degree of meaning we experience. Meditation, mindfulness and self-awareness are tools that put us in charge, teach us to be more discerning and thoughtful in processing what we think, feel, and believe. Instead of habitually reacting to events, we learn to pause and respond with care.

Nourishing the Body: Food and Mindful Movement

The food choices we make have far reaching impact on our physical, mental and emotional health. Though you may have a pretty good idea of what foods help and which hurt, it’s another thing to follow your own advice. Mindful Eating is a powerful tool to align us with food choices that serve us well.

The practice of Tai Chi, QiGong and Yoga, coordinated with breath and imagery, teach us how to be embodied, how to really care about and for ourselves. Slow, mindful movement maximizes the brain’s capacity to rewire itself for new, healthy patterns through the process of neuroplasticity. These practices integrate body, mind, and spirit, allowing us to feel our wholeness.

Cultivating Heart and Spirit

Though the mind and intellect have much to offer when properly trained, they are limited without guidance from the heart. It is by cultivating the heart that we nourish qualities of love and compassion and fulfill our needs for connection to self, others and spirit. By nourishing body and mind with uplifting practices and experiences, the heart and spirit naturally awaken and nourish us back.
